Our Story:

Diya Decor specializes in creative and romantic visuals for wedding occasions. We truly understand how special weddings are, and we wish to make it look wonderful for the bride and groom to be. We start with a goal; and that is for you and your day to shine in a big way!

Six years ago during her daughters wedding, Midu, a creative and resourceful mother was seeking a wedding decorator who could create a unique and cultural experience for the upcoming wedding. Midu and her daughter traveled near and far to find a decorator who could provide a traditional yet sophisticated look, but within budget. As Midu began searching for economical decor items for her daughter's wedding, she discovered that South Asian brides are lacking accessibility to wedding decor; specifically products and services that are dualistic of Indian and Western cultures. More importantly, Midu realized that by buying the fabrics and accessories of her choice and liking, she would be able to offer these pieces to future brides at a reasonable cost. Midu's idea of decorating using rich fabrics and unique pieces was much appreciated. Midu's idea cultivated into a professional pursuit, what is better referred to as DIYA DECOR. Six years later, Midu continues to service families and businesses across the Greater Toronto Area.
